The foundation and core of the traditional martial and health arts of china are deeply rooted in the principles of Nature itself. Oriental thought and philosophy has adapted and borrowed from the teachings that were transferred directly from Nature. Regarding it as the “ultimate truth”, or true way to greater health and longevity. Through the years Teacher Seow studied the arts of Taiji quan, Qi Gong, Liuhe quan and Xingyi quan. In August 2000, he went to China to perfect his training with Masters Guo Zong Bao and Lin Jian Hua. And in 2001 he competed at the Xiamen Wushu Tournament and took first place in the Men’s Open Traditional Fist category. Now returning to Australia he has started teaching the methods of universal health through the techniques of Chinese martial and health arts. My Tai Chi Since returning to Australia Ben has partnered up with the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria to create and develop a new course for their consumers. The course, "My Tai Chi", is based on the powerful yet gentle Taiji qigong form. The Focus is on the application of the principles to directly access the benefits of corrective posture and breathing. Thus in turn, providing the tools and deeper understanding of how these health arts promote wellness of being.
